Job summary

CVS Health is seeking 3rd year Pharmacy Interns to support pharmacy teams and gain hands-on experience across store operations. You will follow SOPs, assist with dispensing, and learn through a structured training roadmap under a licensed pharmacist.

This role emphasizes patient care, safety, and teamwork within a busy retail pharmacy environment, with opportunities to participate in immunization services and clinical activities.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow all SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify prescriptions with prescribers when allowed by state law.
• Complete inventory tasks, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks as directed.
