Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to join our store pharmacy teams across Georgia. Under a licensed pharmacist, you will rotate through workflows to learn how prescriptions are prepared, labeled, and dispensed with patient safety as a priority.

You will reinforce patient care by counseling when appropriate, supporting immunization services where allowed, and following SOPs, regulatory requirements, and CVS policies.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment required.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure operations run smoothly and prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
