Job summary

CVS Health is offering a 3rd-year Pharmacy Intern opportunity in our retail pharmacy network. You will translate classroom learning into real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist, contributing to patient safety, accurate dispensing, and exceptional service across multiple store locations.

As a 3rd-year intern, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap with hands-on learning, gain exposure to district and regional operations, and help ensure operations run smoothly while developing

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Able to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic patient service and assist with immunizations as allowed by state law.
• Counsel patients and collect medical history information when appropriate under supervision.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support business needs.
