Job summary

CVS Health in Hoover, AL is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for a part-time, on-site role. You will support the pharmacy team as you translate classroom knowledge into real-world practice, focusing on safe and accurate prescription fulfillment under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.

You will participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, learn SOPs, and develop communication and patient-care skills while contributing to a caring, compliant pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy program.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.
• Preferred 1+ year in pharmacy, retail, or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel patients and answer basic drug questions under supervision.
• Support immunization services where allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain inventory and assist with daily SOPs.
