Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for an on-site, part-time internship in Northport, AL. You will learn and assist in pharmacy operations under a pharmacist supervisor, focusing on safe prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient care.

You'll participate in a comprehensive training roadmap, gain hands-on experience with SOPs, and support immunizations and patient counseling as allowed by state regulations.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited pharmacy program required.
• Active intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Enrolled in 3rd year of PharmD program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic customer service at pick-up, drive-thru, and calls.
• Learn SOPs and maintain patient safety while following policies.
• Support immunization services where permitted and trained.
