CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern for an on-site, part-time role in Tuscaloosa, AL. You will apply classroom knowledge to real-world practice under a preceptor, supporting pharmacy operations and patient care while pursuing increased responsibility.

The role emphasizes learning through a comprehensive training roadmap, SOP adherence, and collaboration with pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• Must be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Strong customer service mindset with attention to patient experience.
• Effective communication with patients and colleagues in a retail pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunization services and other patient-care tasks as permitted by state law.
• Learn and follow SOPs, complete training roadmap, and participate in shift coverage.
• Provide empathetic, high-quality patient interactions at pickup, drive-thru, and phone.
