Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year pharmacy intern to join the pharmacy team in a part-time capacity in Alabama. The intern will work under a licensed pharmacist to help ensure safe, high-quality patient care and support activities from patient safety to inventory management.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.
• Lead with Heart and display empathy for patients, customers, caregivers, and team.
• Support pharmacy professional practice and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with quality assurance, customer service, inventory and workflow management excluding final prescription verification.
