Job summary

CVS Health seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning in a real store setting and support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate care to patients. Under a preceptor, you will follow SOPs, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to a culture of empathy and service in our CVS Health locations.

You will assist with dispensing, counseling where permitted, and participate in immunizations and other patient-care activities while learning about store operations and regional

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Follow SOPs and support pharmacists and technicians to ensure patient safety.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and customer service at the register and in-store.
• Provide counseling and answer patient questions under supervision when appropriate.
• Contribute to immunizations and on-site clinic activities where allowed by state law.
• Support inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Uphold CVS policies and regulatory requirements in daily operations.
