Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide pharmacy consulting to customers, review and verify prescribed medications, and support immunization and wellness services. You will counsel patients on medication usage, interactions, and safety while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.

You will also assist with inventory management, workflow optimization, and customer experience initiatives to enhance health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within district guidelines (90 days).
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and safety.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies; assists in opening/closing and shift changes.
