Qualifications

• Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective State Board of Pharmacy, if required.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within the district within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, interactions, and safety under supervision.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Reviews and dispenses prescribed medications accurately and handles insurance questions.
• Supports efficient workflow, inventory management and pharmacy asset protection.
• Administers preventive health services such as immunizations and wellness programs.
