Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited university outside the United States.
• FPGEC certification.
• Intern permit/certificate as required by the respective Board of Pharmacy.
• Willingness to obtain licensure in the district within 45 days of intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and safety of medications.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Dispenses medications accurately and follows regulations and policies.
• Supports pharmacy manager in establishing efficient workflows and opening/closing duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and improves productivity.
• Assists with insurance claims processing and third-party audits.
