Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain PharmD degree before start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues in a timely manner and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Develops strong relationships with valuable customers by anticipating needs and offering services such as immunizations, medication management, and wellness services.
• Counsels patients on usage, side effects, interactions, and advises when to refer to a medical provider.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance to regulations, policies, and standards; assists with procedures and shift duties.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems (Intercom Plus, StoreNET) and proposes enhancements for productivity.
• Ensures accurate processing of insurance claims and follows up with payers and providers.
• Performs immunizations, flu shots, and diabetes awareness services.
• Analyzes performance data with managers and supports inventory management and asset protection.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and participates in community outreach.
• Partners with Central Pharmacy Operations for customer registration and 3rd party reviews; conducts virtual product reviews in certain environments.
