Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy considerations.
• Performs pharmacy tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and standards; assists in opening/closing and shift duties.
• Processes insurance claims and assists with third-party audits; communicates with providers as needed.
• Delivers immunizations and preventive healthcare services to patients.
• Develops relationships with local medical community and participates in community outreach.
