Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the state Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients, greeting and assisting with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and privacy; refers to medical providers as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management per regulations and company policies.
• Maintains pharmacy operations, including opening/closing, workflow, and staff coordination.
• Supports insurance processing, 3rd party audits, and adherence to Good Faith Dispensing policies.
• Develops relationships with healthcare providers and participates in community outreach to promote Walgreens services.
