Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD degree required.
• Pharmacist licensure in the relevant state within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions and privacy.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews and verification as workload requires.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with regulations and policies; assist with opening/closing, staffing, and workflow improvements.
• Support insurance claim processing and follow up with providers as needed to resolve issues.
• Provide immunizations, wellness services and preventive care to customers.
• Maintain relationships with local medical community and participate in outreach to grow pharmacy services.
