Job summary

Walgreens is looking for a Pharmacist to provide pharmacy consulting, dispense medications, review interactions, and support immunizations and preventive care services. This role supports pharmacy operations, inventory management, and teamwork; licensure and immunizer certification are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in the states within the district within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding medication usage, interactions, and safety.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and supports pharmacy manager with policies and procedures.
• Provides immunization services and participates in preventive health programs.
• Supports workflow optimization, inventory management, and customer experience.
