Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in the states within the district within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, and alternatives to ensure proper therapy.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with regulations and company policies; assists with opening/closing and shift changes.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
• Processes insurance claims accurately and follows up with insurers and providers to resolve issues.
• Provides immunizations and preventive health services such as flu shots and diabetes awareness.
• Analyzes performance data with pharmacy leadership and supports inventory management and asset protection.
• Engages with local medical community to promote pharmacy services and growth opportunities.
