Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Pharmacist to provide expert medication consulting, immunizations, and patient care within our community pharmacy. You will counsel on usage, interactions, and safety while supporting store operations and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a Pharm D degree prior to start date.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in district states within 90 days.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication use, side effects, interactions and referrals as needed.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification and medication management.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and efficient workflow of the pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy asset protection, inventory management and KPI reviews.
• Provides immunizations, wellness services and diabetes awareness.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements.
