Qualifications

• Requires a foreign pharmacy degree with licensure steps in process.
• FPGEC certification is required.
• Intern permit/certificate issued by the Board of Pharmacy is required if applicable.
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of completing intern hours.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medicine usage, side effects, interactions, and contraindications.
• Performs compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Dispenses prescribed medications accurately and reviews for workload.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and follows company policies and procedures in pharmacy operations.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy systems and proposes enhancements to improve productivity.
• Supports insurance claim processing and communicates with providers as needed.
• Delivers immunizations, wellness services, and patient education to promote preventive care.
• Assists in analyzing performance data and improving pharmacy asset protection and inventory.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from accredited University outside the United States

Foreign Pharmacist Graduate Equivalency Certificate (FPGEC)

Intern permit/certificate issued by the respective Board of Pharmacy

Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure within 45 days of intern hours

Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire
