Job summary

CVS Health in Minnesota is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy teams across stores. You will follow SOPs, assist with prescription fulfillment, and contribute to patient experiences under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Assist in safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and workflow.
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under licensed supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers as allowed by state law.
• Perform basic inventory tasks and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Support immunization services and other patient care tasks where allowed by law.
