Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to advance learning in real‑world practice under supervision. You will complete a 120‑day training roadmap, supporting the pharmacy team to safely fill prescriptions and provide caring service while preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Responsibilities include counseling patients, handling prescriptions, and assisting with immunization services; travel to stores in the market may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Must obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation; intern/licensure as required.
• Ability to become immunization certified and work across locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and patient care.
• Provide counseling and respond to patient questions under supervision.
• Support immunization services and patient education where permitted by law.
• Adhere to SOPs and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle telephonic prescriptions and coordinate with prescribers as allowed by state rules.
• Support inventory and daily pharmacy operations, including cycle counts and returns.
