Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply pharmacy school learning in real-world settings within CVS pharmacy teams, preparing for a Pharmacist role.

Under the guidance of a preceptor, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap, deepen your understanding of patient safety, DUR, SOPs, and contribute to safe, compassionate service while gaining leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions filled safely and accurately.
• Provide immunizations and other services when allowed; counsel patients and take telephonic prescriptions.
