Job summary

CVS Health in Virginia is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice. Under a preceptor, you will complete a 120‑day training roadmap to advance toward a Pharmacist role while supporting safe, efficient pharmacy operations.

You may assist with immunizations, DUR reviews, and patient counseling, growing your clinical and technical knowledge in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from a U.S. accredited program is required.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist with immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics where allowed by law.
• Demonstrate empathy and provide care while following SOPs and patient safety standards.
• Learn under a preceptor and complete a training roadmap within 120 days of graduation.
• Maintain attendance, adapt to scheduling needs, and help across market stores as needed.

Education

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program

Valid intern and/or technician licensure (in process or obtained)
