Job summary

CVS Health in Ames, IA is offering a part-time 3rd year Pharmacy Intern opportunity. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service while learning SOPs and store operations.

Enrollment in an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program and active intern/technician licensure are required; role includes immunization support where allowed and flexible scheduling across CVS locations in the market.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or admission.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians in pharmacy operations per SOPs.
• Ensure prescription fulfillment is accurate and safe.
• Provide compassionate patient service and support immunization and other services where allowed.
• Participate in training roadmap and learning experiences.
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts as directed.
