Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply classroom learning to real-world pharmacy operations in a store setting. Under a licensed pharmacist, you’ll complete a detailed training roadmap, support the team with dispensing, counseling, immunizations where allowed, and learn store, district, and regional processes.

This part-time internship emphasizes patient safety, SOP compliance, and teamwork, with opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment or acceptance.
• Currently have or be obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, accurate dispensing, and prompt service.
• Follow SOPs, participate in counseling, and support immunization services where allowed by law.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to ensure safety and satisfaction.
• Support inventory activities and maintain accurate records as directed by leadership.
• Learn store, district, and regional operations while building professional skills.
