Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Minnesota seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap designed to show you what it’s like to be part of a pharmacy team while gaining an overview of store operations.

You will assist with pharmacy operations, ensure prescriptions are filled safely and promptly, and learn SOPs while delivering caring service that exceeds patient expectations.

Qualifications

• Accepted into ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Provide empathetic patient service and contribute to a positive patient experience.
• Follow SOPs and protect patient privacy and safety.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by state law.
