Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Atlanta, GA seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern who will translate didactic learnings into real-world practice, supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and excellent patient care.

Under a preceptor-led roadmap within 120 days of graduation, you will gain exposure to store operations, drug utilization review, immunizations, and counseling while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements. Part-time schedule with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Counsel patients and field medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Perform inventory activities and assist with patient safety initiatives.
• Support immunizations and other patient services as allowed by law.
