Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice, under a preceptor, completing a 120‑day training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate service.

As you progress, you will take on greater accountability within the pharmacy, participate in immunizations, DUR, SOP compliance, and travel to stores as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Provide patient counseling and assist pharmacists to ensure safe prescription fulfillment
• Maintain accuracy in labeling and dispensing medications
• Demonstrate empathy and professional communication with patients and team
• Support immunization services and point-of-care testing as allowed by law
• Adhere to SOPs and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy
