Job summary

CVS Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support our pharmacy team as you apply didactic learning to real-world practice. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation to advance toward a Pharmacist role.

As you gain experience, you will help ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, patient care, and adherence to SOPs while developing clinical and operational skills for expanded responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care to contribute to positive patient experiences.
• Offer to counsel, field medical questions, and collect medical history to provide optimal care.
• Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify prescriptions where allowed by state regulation.
