Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to translate didactic learning into real-world practice within our pharmacy teams. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap and progressively take on greater responsibility in store operations.

You will learn about patient safety, drug utilization review, and SOP compliance while delivering caring service and accurate prescription fulfillment. This is a part-time internship with valuable pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that pharmacy operations run smoothly, prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide counseling and immunization support where allowed by state regulations and under supervision.
• Demonstrate empathy and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
