Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply school learning in real-world practice within CVS Health stores. You will follow SOPs, support the pharmacy team, and help ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately, while learning store, district, and regional operations under a pharmacist’s supervision.

You will gain hands-on experience, assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and continuing education activities, while contributing to a culture of caring and safety

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be working toward, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient health.
• Assist with safe and accurate prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
• Counsel patients when appropriate and solicit medical information for optimal care under supervision.
• Support immunizations and other pharmacy services per state regulations.
