Job summary

CVS Health in Newburgh, IN is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a structured training roadmap, support the pharmacy team, and deliver safe, compassionate care to patients.

You will learn SOPs, operate within store and district operations, and gain hands-on experience in prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and customer service while maintaining high standards of patient

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college enrollment or acceptance.
• Active intern and/or technician licensure in process, as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap focusing on KLEs and safety.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures to maintain patient privacy and compliance.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunizations where allowed by state law.
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts as directed by leadership.

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
