Job summary

CVS Health in the United States invites applications for a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern role at participating CVS locations. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, under a preceptor, while gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations.

You’ll support pharmacy teams to ensure accurate prescriptions, safe dispense, and compassionate patient care, while learning SOPs and earning hands-on experience toward a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must have or be pursuing valid intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to support pharmacists and technicians in patient care.
• Fill prescriptions accurately and promptly.
• Assist with immunizations and on-site services when trained.
• Counsel patients and answer general medication questions under supervision.
• Maintain inventory and cycle counts per policy.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with safety standards.
