Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern program within our store environments. You’ll apply didactic learning to real practice, under a pharmacist preceptor, and follow a structured training roadmap including KLEs and leadership interactions.

You will support pharmacy operations, ensure accurate prescriptions, and learn SOPs while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment/acceptance required.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists and technicians.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescriptions.
• Assist patients with empathy and provide immunizations and services where applicable.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and coordinate with prescribers as allowed.
• Maintain inventory, cycle counts, and returns-to-stocks as directed.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to pharmacy team members.
