Job summary

CVS Health Corporation seeks a part-time, 3rd-year Pharmacy Intern in Fountain Hills, AZ to learn by applying didactic knowledge in real-world pharmacy operations. Under a preceptor, you’ll follow a comprehensive roadmap spanning KLEs and hands-on practice, supporting pharmacists and technicians while ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

You will participate in immunizations where allowed, maintain SOPs, and engage with patients with empathy, accuracy, and security.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Ability to obtain intern/licensure as required.
• Willingness to travel between stores in the market.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely and accurately.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support immunization efforts where allowed.
