Job summary

CVS Health Corporation is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern in Salt Lake City, UT, to support pharmacy teams and apply didactic learning to real-world practice. The intern will learn under a preceptor, work across production, drive-thru, and pick-up areas, and participate in comprehensive training to prepare for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel and assist patients under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Maintain SOPs and follow pharmacy workflow procedures.
