Job summary

CVS Health's third year Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap, learn SOPs, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe and timely prescription fulfillment.

You may travel to stores across the market to cover shifts as needed, gaining exposure to store, district, and regional operations while developing clinical and technical knowledge for a future Pharmacist

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people, understand patients' reactions
• Communication Skills: interact with patients and colleagues, active listening
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate medication quantities and days supply
• Problem Resolution: handle challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, manual tasks
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager

Education

ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy

Intern/licensure in process or required licensure
