Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in CVS Retail locations, applying didactic knowledge to real-world practice and preparing for a Pharmacist role. You will follow a comprehensive training roadmap under a preceptor, participate in store, district, and regional operations, and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service.

Qualifications

Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

Follow SOPs to help Pharmacists and Technicians manage and improve patient health.
Support pharmacy workflow procedures to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
Assist with immunizations, counseling, and customer service while supervised by a licensed pharmacist.
Take telephonic prescriptions and confirm details with prescribers as allowed by state regulations.
Maintain inventory activities and assist in store operations under pharmacy leadership.
