Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world pharmacy operations and prepare for a Pharmacist role under the supervision of a licensed preceptor.

You will contribute to patient care by supporting the pharmacy team, following SOPs, and learning store, district and regional workflows while developing clinical and technical knowledge through hands-on experiences and structured learning milestones.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in, an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help pharmacists and technicians manage patient health.
• Assist with prescription fulfillment and patient service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Counsel patients and collect medical history information to provide optimal care under supervision.
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist with cycle counts, returns-to-stocks, and stocking.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in daily operations.
