Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to translate classroom learning into real-world practice within our store pharmacy teams. You will work under a preceptor, following a structured training roadmap to learn store, district, and regional operations while ensuring safe, timely prescription processing and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

Accepted into ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
Must possess, or be pursuing, intern and/or technician licensure as required by state.

Responsibilities

Assist Pharmacists/Technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflows at each station to maintain patient safety.
Provide empathetic customer service and counseling to patients at pickup, drive-thru, and during calls.
Support inventory tasks, such as stocking and cycle counts, as directed by pharmacy leadership.
Travel to stores across the market as needed to support business needs.
Deliver immunization-related support per state regulations under supervision.
Participate in training to expand clinical and technical knowledge for patient care.
