Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply pharmacy school knowledge in real-world setting within our retail pharmacy teams. You will work under a preceptor to complete a training roadmap, gain hands-on experience in prescription fulfillment, patient counseling, and SOP adherence, and prepare for advancing to pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Accepted into, or actively enrolled in ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, under supervision.
• Provide courteous patient service and counseling under supervision.
• Follow SOPs and support pharmacy operations and customer care.
• Support immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed by law.
