Job summary

CVS Health in New York is offering a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern position in our retail stores. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor, following a comprehensive training roadmap to prepare for a Pharmacist role.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across store operations, SOPs, patient counseling and immunization support, while delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

Qualifications

• ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy enrollment
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required by state

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, promptly and accurately
• Demonstrate empathy and caring in patient interactions and maintain patient privacy
• Participate in training roadmap and complete Key Learning Experiences (KLEs)
• Support immunization services where allowed by state regulations and training
• Maintain SOP adherence and contribute to a safe, inclusive work environment
