Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that welcomes customers and answers questions about products.
• Provide drug counseling and discuss pharmaceutical products with customers and prescribers.
• Assist with OTC medication recommendations and input patient and prescription data into the pharmacy system.
• Dispense medications and contact prescribers for authorization.
• Assist with immunizations under supervision of the pharmacist.
• Input and process insurance information and handle payments.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety, report incidents and risks.
