Active enrollment in a US school of pharmacy and a current intern license are required. This role offers growth, flexible scheduling, and patient-facing responsibilities under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of pharmaceutical products and discuss these with customers and prescribers.
• Provide drug counseling to customers.
• Assist with over the counter medication recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense the correct medication.
• Contact prescribers’ offices for authorization.
• Process third party insurance information for customers.
• Contact insurance companies on the behalf of customers when necessary.
• Deliver prescriptions to customers accurately.
• Provide immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist.
