Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice within our pharmacy teams across CVS locations. You will follow a 120-day training roadmap designed to deepen patient safety and drug utilization knowledge while delivering caring service that meets patient expectations.

You will learn SOPs, collaborate with pharmacists and technicians, and support immunizations and other patient care activities where allowed by state law.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Preferred immunization certification and ability to work across the market in other locations, to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly.
• Provide empathetic customer service and support patient care activities where allowed by state law.
• Maintain SOPs and protect patient privacy while supporting the pharmacy team.
