Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and clinical services at the Meijer Pharmacy location in Michigan. The role involves patient interactions, third-party processing, inventory management, and adherence to confidentiality and quality standards.

The candidate will work under a pharmacist, gain hands-on experience, and participate in Meijer’s education and development programs, with a focus on growth within the pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Customer service.
• Assist patients in person and by phone; help with product selection; obtain medication prices.
• Process and fill prescriptions.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and third-party adjudication; count and label prescriptions; handle Will Call transactions.
• Perform third-party functions.
• Inventory management.
• Update balance on hand; order, receive, and transfer stock; verify Meijer codes.
• Provide clinical services.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
