Meijer is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to support customer service, prescription processing, and inventory tasks in our pharmacy. You will work under supervision to ensure accurate medication dispensing, pricing, and patient care.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program with strong communication skills, confidentiality, and a team-oriented mindset. This role emphasizes service excellence and professional growth within the Meijer pharmacy team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations.
• Knowledge of brand/generic medication names.
• Understanding MTM platforms and immunizations with proper training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions using the pharmacy computer system and assist with third-party adjudication.
• Handle third-party functions and inventory management tasks.
• Manage inventory, balance on hand, and assist with ordering and stocking.
• Provide clinical services as trained and available.
