Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist with customer service, prescription processing, and clinical support. You will work under a pharmacist to ensure accurate data entry, third-party adjudication, and compliance with state regulations.

You will gain hands-on experience in inventory management, pricing, and patient communication while supporting MTM and health screening activities as trained and authorized. Indiana-based placement with Meijer facilities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state-specific).
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Neat and legible penmanship; strong organizational skills.
• Team-oriented, timely and dependable; basic math skills.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethics.
• Understanding of patient care services and MTM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist patients with product selection.
• Process and fill prescriptions; discuss pricing and options.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and adjudication.
• Manage inventory, BOH, and vendor-related tasks.
• Support clinical services and health screenings as trained.
