The role requires enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program and an active state intern license, with emphasis on accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork. The position involves filling prescriptions, assisting patients, and coordinating with third-party functions while maintaining inventory and using the pharmacy computer system.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Pharmacy Intern License (state specific).
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Knowledge of third-party adjudication processes.
• Basic math and prescription calculations.

• Willingness to stay current on pharmacy services.

Responsabilités

• Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy.
• Communicate with patients in person and by phone for product selection and pricing.
• Process and fill prescriptions accurately.
• Use pharmacy computer system for data entry and adjudication.
• Manage inventory and oversee third-party functions.
• Update balance on hand and place orders.
