Job summary

CVS Health in Minnesota seeks a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern to apply Didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist. You will learn through a structured roadmap, work closely with the pharmacy team, and help ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment while delivering caring service to patients.

You will gain hands-on experience across store operations, SOPs, and interaction with leaders in your district, with responsibilities expanding as you progress.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or accepted to ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists and Technicians in patient care and safety.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Counsel and assist patients; collect medical history data when appropriate under supervision.
• Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify with prescribers when allowed by state regulation.
• Maintain inventory activities and assist in cycle counts and stock management.
• Assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where certified or allowed by law.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be flexible with scheduling across stores in the market.
